This past week, except for a few moments and times when the pain flared up almost as bad as ever, I seem to be having a slow but for the most part steady decline in my soreness and pain.

The feeling of "awareness" that comes from stimulation of the genitofemoral nerve and resulting cremaster muscle tension remains, but even that seems to be less severe that it has been since my short-lived 'recovery' just before the spring equinox.

After that experience (what seemed to be a recovery after coming off corticosteroid anti-inflammatories -- prednisone specifically -- but only lasted about two weeks or so before I began to have inflammation/nerve pain/cremaster contraction again), I'm very nervous that this improvement won't last.

It seems surprisingly common for folks in this support group to go through similar cycles during their battles with EP, and so I'd like to know more about some of the 'false' recoveries you folks may have had, and what you think might be responsible for your successes as well as what might have caused you to flare up again afterwards.....

Still waiting on my Fenugreek/garlic/multi-herb anti-inflammation supplements to arrive, so this improvement seems to stem from lots of turmeric, bromelain, cayenne, vitamins, and gentle excercise along with avoidance of sexual activity.

Hopefully when the rest of the supplements arrive and I can start taking them, I'll be able to affect permanent recovery....but really, the clincher has to be finding this forum! You guys are a life-saver to say the least!

So....let's hear it. What's been behind the successes and failures of your recoveries?
