I am 45 yrs old and not sexually active at the present time so I was surprised to experience some sudden discomfort ina nd around my testicles about a month ago . After a week of this I visited my GP who examined them but found no obvious abnormalities. A week later I began to experience a sharper more localised pain in and immediately behind the l/testicle and a burning sensation on ejaculation., so the doc prescribed 8 days Doxycycline A/B's. Now I am back to square 1 with the discomfort and a return visit to the doctor produces a shrug and a '..just one of those things ..'attitude. I had a urine sample but that didn't show anything either. I do not feel as though the symptoms have gone away but am at a loss to know what to do if it gets to the eye-watering stage again. The doc didn't stick his kneck out with a definatr diagnosis either a nd trying to see a specialist in the UK is a major challange as many of you will surely know. flo. |
