Well, this is one club I really didn't want to join.
I had a bout of E and 'maybe' prostatitis 10 years ago which took about 3 months and Doxycyclin to cure. I'm not even sure the antibiotic cured it since it continued after and then abbated.
So, 10 years later at age 61 it hits me again,this time seems not as severe and certainly not as stressful. After 3 weeks of denial, I go back to the Dr and he starts me on SMZ/TMP to see if it will work before giving me Doxy. 4 days now and still lousy (10 day supply). I guess my real question here is, how in the hell does this thing come back after ten years? I'm about ready to cut 'em off. Just kidding - I think????????
