I've had prostatitis and epididymitis since February (the epidid may have started months before).

Didn't start antibiotics until late May 2004.

After 6 weeks of Levaquin, and now 2 weeks (and counting) of double strength Bactrim (SMZ/TMP), my prostatitis is perhaps 70% better (in May I couldn't even sit in a chair) but my epidid is worse -- now pretty much every day. It's usually left-sided, but every now and then it affects the right too.

It gets better and worse, but it never goes away, and the general trend is getting worse. I used to have "days off" but no longer. Ughhh.

Any recommendations for doctors in New York?

Or elsewhere, for that matter.
