That's right chronicpain. I didn't mean to be taken too literally, when I implied all who take fenugreek believe congestion is the cause of their problem. Just meant to outline it's the 'cause' wer'e all after. The 'symptoms' of infection may or may not be helped by antibiotics.
Some herbs do have excellent anti-inflammatory properties. I think it was Bill who mentioned he had a good response to a lympathic problem after surgery for a hernia when he took fenugreek and Bromelain.
