I did find, when I was on painkillers, that marijuana helped with opiate nausea and seemed to reinforce the painkilling effect.

When taken alone, however, I'm not sure whether it helped with the pain or not. It seemed to increase *awareness* of pain.

Smoke, even without the nastier elements of tobacco smoke, is a serious irritant to several of the key systems involved in keeping your reproductive system healthy -- lymph, inflammatory, immune, lungs, et cetera.

I wouldn't go out of my way to attack anyone who smokes weed while suffering from EP, but be very careful. It can have benefits, including its decongestive properties, anti-inflammatory properties, and immune-boosting (in some ways; in others it has been rumored to be immune-supressant, so it may in the end be a wash) properties. But smoke is definitely not something your body needs while you have a chronic illness.
