Usually most guys say it does not hurt at all since it is only sound waves and the tech doesn't need to press only brush over your scrotum.

I have had two done and the first was done by a women who obviously didn't have any knowledge about a man or was out to hurt any man she could. I hurt so bad till it was over I thought I was going to vomit. This was partially my problem too since this was the beginning and I was sort of ASSuming everyone knew what they were doing.

I asked for a guy to do it the second time but was informed they only had female techs. That tech was really good and didn't jam around like the first one. I still hurt a little which the doctor said was the sound waves irritaed the inflammation.

There is nothing really to worry about though unless you are bashful....except getting your balls out in the open and letting them cover them with gel to help the sound travel.
