Great work finding this gem! I would like to track down a pathology series on epididymitis, where the epididymides were looked at autopsy. I have not found such a series yet. So, I am not sure if such blow-outs occur, but am very curious about whether or not this could be happening. There is probably some pathologist out there somewhere, who has looked at this.
