the frequent urination is prostatitis most likely, your prostate is infected with the same organism as the ep, and is enlarged making you urinate alot more

i have the same thing, it feels like i always have to urinate, and even after i piss alot, i dont have that "empty" feeling there for long, your symptoms sound very similar to mine, i was on cipro for months, dr toth said it is useless usually for the bacterias that caus ep and pro usually, he put me on a double dose of doxy for the next two weeks while i wait for the test results to come in, he said it might help as doxy is directed toward the things that usually are the causing agents, but that there is very litle chance for any kind of oral pill to cure this

dr toth is the one who explained all this to me, i have been a frequent urinator for years and he thinks its been slightly enlarged that whole time as well, but lately with the ep attack, the urination has gotten way more frequent, if i even think about it, i automatically have to go(writing this post makes me have to go, literally), he tested a sample of my prostatic fluid and found white blood cells in it, indicating infection in there, other urologists gave me the prostate tests and never said one word about it possibly being infected or enlarged or anything

try to go see dr toth if you are able, he is basically the only hope i have to cure this
