I didn't mean to say either of those things, exactly.

I mean to say that I'm not sure whether or not there may still be some sort of infection (whether a traditional pathogen, or some mycoplasma-like thing)....I was trying to say I consider it unlikely but that I really don't know.

None of these herbs are likely to directly cure an infection that I'm aware of, but together they can greatly decrease your symptoms and offer the body ways to resolve the problem itself....

I'm not sure that IV antibiotics are an ace card in either acute OR chronic cases, but I was expressing my personal opinion that they are more likely to have a big impact on acute cases because they're almost always due to an infection.

Chronic cases are murkier territory so it's hard to say; if your primary cause in a chronic case is still the primary effects of infection, then it may very well work.
