But 5 urologists over 8 months contemplated my epididymitis and prostatitis, and all prescribed Levaquin or Cipro, and all said if it doesn't work there's nothign else to do except learn to meditate. None of them even suggested:

TRUS
EPS culture
semen culture
testicular sonogram (until I requested one after 5 months) (I have some small cysts)

HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Does no one follow the guidelines to which you have pointed?

The guidelines make a lot of sense to me -- if antibiotics don't
work (or in my case work incompletely) investigate further.

Should my urologist object if I stick the guidelines under his nose and politely request that he follow them.
