I've never had any obvious reaction to general anaesthesia, but it's been a long time since that's happened to me, so it's hard to say.....
Sounds as thought some parts of your brain may have had trouble during your sedation, getting enough oxygen or maintaining normal neuro-electrochemical patterns.... The best things for this may be rigorous exercise to help get plenty of fresh O2 to your brain cells....and small, occasional doses of raw neurochemical fuel such as 5-hydroxytryptophan or L-Tyrosine.... You may also want to do a Google search for people who've had post-anaesthesia problems, maybe there are support groups for those issues, much as this group and the MRH group are for EP/PR/etc....
