About 3 weeks ago i started to have a dull aching pain in my left testicle, mysteriously as the week progressed the pain would switch to my right testicle only, then back to the left and so on, sometimes but rarely both. I went to see a uro where i was diagnosed with epidydimitis. ( I think they also had no idea) I was tested for everything including Chlamydia, GC etc, tests came negative. Urine culture was also negative to any organism growth. Im 25 and feel i am supposed to be in the most productive years of my life but this condition is very painful and the fact that the cause is uncertain makes me even more depressed because I dont know how to treat it. Doing extensive research on the net, there is a plethera of information for possible causes, such as: referred neurological pain, pelvic floor muscle tension etc. I have been taking doxycyclene, vioxx, and biocalm (muscle relaxant) for about 2 weeks with minimal pain relief. Will it last forever, my testicles are extremely sore to touch. Any helpful info will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!! Max |
