At 38 years old with a 9 and 4 year old my wife and I decided we didn't wish to have any more children. In mid November I had a vasectomy. Towards the end of the first week of December I noticed my testicle was tender. It eventually got to be 2 times it's normal size and that is when I decided I had better go to the doctor. I was sent to a urologist who diagnosed me with epididymitis.
My question or at least what I'd like to get opinions on is the frequency this occurs after a vasectomy and if this is something I will now have a reoccurrence of.
I know most here know the pain involved so not to sound like a whiner but the combination of the vasectomy and the epididymitis has left me with a pretty low sex drive. I'm attributing this to emotions rather than physical issues. Any comments would be appreciated.
