I've been having testical pain for the last 6 months now. I have been through most scans, x-rays and seen countless 'experts'. I was diagnosed with epididymitis. My testicals were not inflamed but the right one was a little larger than the left. I was stuck on various antibiotics for four months. They didn't work. I then kept a diary on how bad the pain was each day (morning/noon/night) and after four weeks I noticed a pattern. I'm off the antibiotics and nothing changed. Now, 20 years ago I had a bad motorcycle accident and stuffed up my back. I've always had a back ache but learned to live with it. I have noticed now that if I have a real 'pain day' in my testicals my back is usually in pain too. On good days of hardly any pain my back feels fine too. I'm now seeing a chiropractor. He pointed out the main nerve that runs from the middle of the back, down and around to the groin. He also has given me alot more answers that help mentally. Things that trigger back pain (and then groin pain) in my case are, sitting at computer (I now kneel) lifting etc. The testical pain is worse at night and in the am (when my back stiffens up) It is better after moving around during the day. Maybe this might help someone? I'll let you know how my back treatment goes and any changes for my testical pain. I would also like to say to any doctors etc that might read this site (I tell them about it hoping they might get some idea)that the mental pressure this kind of pain puts on people is extreme. If you want proof I'll kick you in the nuts and tell you that 'it's probably nothing' - I'm sure you'd disagree. |
