I had laproscopic hernia surgery in early August of 2003. I developed these symptoms and the surgeon wouldn't admit a problem. I could barely walk without feeling like I was going to vomit from the pain. My scrotum and testicles swelled to an immense size. I have had problems urinating and also dribbling since. I had some form of cyst form just above my testicle during this swelling. Kind of like right where your leg attaches. Apparently in the lymph system. It pains a lot also ans swelled to over 3cm.

The surgeon and the urologist said not to worry that my testicle was three times it normal size because it wasn't cancer. I never was worried about cancer, nor had I asked or mentioned it. Neither doctor would admit it to be a problem even though I bled and swelled so much.

Now it has been almost six months and you can still look at me and see my penis and scrotum look dark. A while back at the shower at the gym, a guy asked me how I got a black man's penis on a white guy's body.

I have quit the gym since I am tired so much from the pain I had. No one seems to have cared that I hurt. In fact the surgeon said it really didn't matter as I had children already.

I found that I would get nauseated if I went more than about 10 miles in a vehicle. Driving would about make me lay all the next day. I finally drove 75 miles last week. That was the first since August that I went more than 8 or 9 miles. I have made a special firm pad I lay on the car seat so I do not put pressure on my balls. Vehicle seats seem to squish you and that just riled things up.

Tight jockey shorts really helped. (The docs said wear boxers so blood would circulate more. Ouch that hurt bad.)

Yes, there is really a lack on the part of the doctor to help the patient. I really appreciate the doctor starting this web site and am so glad I found it.

I had a nerve block done and the swelling finally decreased although the pain is still there. I started Fenugreek about five days ago and do believe it may be helping already. As other guys have stated on this website, there is a difference in my sperm and some swelling seems to be going away. Also the epididymis isn't as tender. And the lump I mentioned above has went down to maybe 1/2 the size.

I want to try the others as soon as I get to a health food store.

Hope this helps a little. If I can be of any assistance from my experiences, please ask. I, like this physician, would like to help others so they do not have to blindly stumble along until they find help. (I did find a surgeon who has helped a lot and hunts answers if he doesn't know. So keep looking, good docs exist out there!)
