how common is chronic?

How common is chronic epididymitis among epididymitis cases? I'm 24 and got diagnosed two days ago. The pain is very minor. The doc gave me 10 days of antibiots. Bactrim I think it was. My left testicle is a little swollen and hangs a bit lower than the other one right now. Will this go back to normal if the infection goes away? Please let me know any thoughts on this. Thanks.
