He is going on his 4th day on the antibiotic and he says there is no change. I talked him into taking a hot bath last night and he said it did seem to help while he was in the tub but as soon as he went to stand up the ache was back.

He also said that it is not so much in his testicle anymore but more in the hip and lower back and in the creese between his leg and groin area.

I called the doctor yesterday and he said if he isn't feeling any better by Monday to come back in. That we need to give the antibiotic at least 5 days to make a change.

I just feel so bad for him. It has become more of an annoying ache for him and I can see he is getting frustrated. I can't imagine dealing with this for years. Won't be good for either one of us. He is so crabby right now and I don't know what to do to help him feel better.

I am going to mention that other drug to the doctor when and if we need to go back in on Monday. The one that starts with L, I will have to go back and look on the posts for the name again.

Thanks for all the info from you guys. I can see from my husband that this is a hard thing to deal with and can be an embarrassment too.

He wants to try having sex this weekend to see if there are any problems there. But I know that I will be apprehensive, I won't want to hurt him and make it worse.

Any advice for me on that and how I can help?
