I developed post void dribbling in July of 2002. So a dr. in Aug 2002 did sonogram and cysto urethragram to find that I have a urethra diverticulum and a bladder diverticulum. I had surgery in Sept 2002.For the surgery, they gave me a needle in my back first, cut me between my legs then put me to sleep. Problems occured in the operating room. I was in there almost ten hours. I survived from almost bleeding to death. Was sent home on day three with a urinal bag and levoquin feeling as sick as can be.. the incision bleed and was pus filled but My doctor said it was normal. Fifteen days later the urinal was removed. the incision was still bleeding and pusie. not healing well. My doctor said it was normal and sent me home with cipro. Next visit , still not healing well. I felt the size of my scrotum drastically shrunk. And the pain from day one. If I had sex the pain and only a little sperm would come out. the rest poured out like a string. Christams Eve was the cut off when another cysto urethragram was planned. I stared to see another doctor.
DR#1 could not help. Advised me to see DR#2 a urologist that was a splecialist. The doctor who did the surgery refused to send him my medical records. I saw DR#3 who did a cysto but the fluid could not go into my bladder. reporting a Diverticulum and a stricture. He could not help me. Saw DR#4 with another test, using dye that could not go into my bladder. same results. All this time I am in severe pain. My right testical Is in pain for almost three years since september 2002. The pain in my leg buttock on the right side up my back. I have experienced kidney stones in both kidneys and when I urinate sitting down the remainder just flows out leaving me incontinence. I've experienced the fever , chills and the pain . the pain is 24/7. In 2003 I developed depression and anxiety caused from this. Also to wake up with a swollen face is the pits. Dr#5 told me I had epididymas. Dr#6 I will see the middle of May. I know why I even get fuzzy thinking at times. I do not ride my bike anymore due to the pain. Good luck to all of you guys and thanks. Rich
