so the URs and GP are baffled. there is no ep/infection in urine, ct scan shows nothing... finally went to a fellow who is a master with acupuncture and chiropractic. have had two sessions of acupuncture. pain is subsiding dramatically. seems as though he has "fixed" ep before, and has even dealt with varicoceles and beyond. it also turns out that lower back injuries/strain can cause the pain in the testes, abdomen, and back. it is sometimes the case that a fellow can get ep due to a full bladder and straining himself (ab muscles, back), which we know can result in a bout of ep. the same "accident" can also injure the back and/or abs. in my case, the testicle was so painful that i didn't even think of the other pains down there being seperate issues (yet all related). not sure if this is even the fully correct diagnosis, but from what the accu/chiro/chinese herbal med doctor has been telling me, it seems as though he is on the right track. what helps me believe this is the fact that he also brought up ailments/operations that i have had in the past- conditions that i didn't even mention to him. i just wanted to chime in with my experiences so far, perhaps even suggesting that anyone who cannot seem to resolve the pains and aches through traditional western medicines to go and see what they can achieve through "alternative" approaches. i am finally able to walk uphill without pain. i will report more on my successes later. johnny |
