hi guys. this forum is amazing!

here's my problem.. i am a 24 yr old male.

after an ultrasound i was diagnosed with epididymitis. i was put on cipro twice (1 month) and then doxycycline twice (1 month) however neither worked. the pain would cycle in and out.

i have been on fenugreek and other immune boosting herbs such as garlic tablets, echinacea, acidophylus for about a month now and i have found that the pain in my testicle is about 90% gone. i get a tingle every few days in the testicle but what is concerning me is this.

the tingle sometimes varies between my left inner thigh and up to my left seminal vesicle (or somewhere near there) and the epididymus. its like the tendons are sore. i also get a pain in the lower vas deferrens (or nearby) on occasion. its like a tingle and when i touch it it feels like there are lots of little tiny needles in there.

i am seeing a urologist tomorrow for the first time. i'll see what he has to say. the only other drug i am taking is finasteride which i have been taking for over a year. it is a drug to stop hairloss however it also keeps the prostate smaller. it is approved by the fda so it is safe. i dont know if this might be causing any problems... maybe?

another thing is masturbation. sometimes the pain in the leg seems to go away after masturbation but then it will come back.

any ideas guys?
