I'm afraid I have to concur with Bill Mc. Things that I have been told are: "It is painful, but it will not kill you"! "Don't worry it's not cancer"! "If it was cancer I could cure you"! "Most men usually grow out of it!" Then the procedure is usually to write a prescription for a 'strong' antibiotic ( Cipro or similar ) and that's it. The other thing is an ultra-sound scan is ordered, and with Epididymitis the results usually come back 'clear'.
Sorry to be so negative, but that's the experience most of us here have had. I sincerely hope that you are the exception to the rule, and the very best of luck.
