I usually experience a flare-up of pain for a few days each time I go, but then after it subsides, I seem to have a little more improvement, week to week. I think a lot of it also depends on which part of the spine he's working on. When he adjusts my sacrum, it's not nearly as bad as when he stimulates the nerves around the L5 vertebra. I think he must have done that on Friday without telling me as a way of testing out that theory because I was back in bed again with severe pain all day Saturday and Sunday, scared out of my wits that the infection was returning in full force. It's finally been easing up again today, just in time for my next appointment with him tomorrow!
