Thanks for the advice men, Surgery is definately not in my future.
The two week comment was my 1st doctor ready to operate so quickly that prompted my second opinion.
I am lucky, my pain and inflammation is mostly gone,and I do not like meds particualrly, let alone surgery. I just wanted to add my story for others to compare notes to. I do get confused as to whether I should think of all doctors as misinformed or mere salesmen where this is concerned. Are they all off track? I don't know. Then there also seems to be little solid data to prove what works for this ailment if anything.
As far as accepting the "blowout" theory? I am not a doctor, but I would expect(hope) them to have some basic anatomy knowledge especially those in the Urology field.
Doctor (on this board) replied and asked if there was data on this thoery,I do not know. Was this guy just talking out his ass? Was this just an outright guess?
I will let mother nature do it's work, not the knife.....
