That is an interesting point. When you say there is no way to avoid contact, do you mean he actually drinks beer or ale? That has been thee very thing that precipated my epididymitis when I first began to drink beer / ale many years ago. Trouble was, it took me many years to isolate it as a cause. Now that I no longer drink beer / ale I have no problem with epididymitis whatsoever. Though there is a bit of long term tenderness, on the affected side presumably from nerve damage, because I suffered so long, (more than 20 years ). But I can live my daily life very well now, without any major problems. John.
