You probably read in medical books or the product literature that Cipro is good at penetrating most areas of the body including the prostate. I have also read that myself so I don't deny what you wrote. However what is written about Cipro is NOT correct. In actual practice Cipro CANNOT penetrate the prostate on its own. NO antibiotic can. If Cipro could penetrate the prostate you wouldn't require prostatic drainage and everyone could be easily cured. For prostate infections all antibiotics require regular prostatic drainage to work. There is no way around this no matter what you read or what anyone tells you.
