Hi Bill - I'm now 40 with my 2nd bout of epi, a little over a year between the two. I noticed a few years ago that I was experiencing post urination dribble, sometimes quite a bit. Just today I took a piss and went to load my dishwasher, bent over and I could feel urine being pushed (more like pinched) out my penis. It's happened before and I forgot about it. But this time it was very noticeable due to the volume or at least it felt like a lot. I know Uro's can do a test to track urine flow from the stomach to the toilet. That would show dribble, urine reflux, which is a theoretical cause of epi. Hopefully I can get this test and post the results and see if it is useful info or not.
I'm looking into the hernia possibility. I have never had a hernia but with a lot of aggressive sports I might have a very small one down there. If I did have a hernia, I'm not so sure that would be a good thing as I have read that prostatitis and epi can result as a complication of hernia surgery. I do recall wrestling class a few weeks before my initial bout of epi. I was repeatedly being thrown on my back, and I recall feeling my balls practically slapping my ass. To this day I suspect a relation. Maybe my epi was stretched or injured enough to allow infection to start?? If you have any thoughts on what I wrote, I'm all ears. |
