I was diagnosed with EP a little over 2 months ago. i had a sharp pain in my epid. area but sometimes it turns into a dull almost numb kind of pain that sometimes extends to my buttocks and upper thigh.
I was given a shot rocephin 1gm and put on doxy. 100mg 2x a day for 10 days. They sent a blood sample and a urine sample to the lab and came back negative. I went back a month ago and got rodded to check for gonorea and chlamidea but it came back neg. they gave me some more doxy. 100mg 2x a day for 14 days. I waited to take the doxy because there was really no success the 1st time but decided to take it and am almost at the end of treatment with no results. what should i expect as treatment when i go back to the doctor.
