Hello all. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I was waiting, and actually praying, that things were going to get better for me. Unfortunately, they got worse. I had two denervation surgeries done with Dr. Levine in Chicago, the first in April and the second in August. The good news is, the pain is out of my testicles. The bad news is, the pain is still very present on both sides underneath the incision sites. It has been absolutely brutal the last week. I am taking Ultrams right now and they don't seem to be doing much. It's the same pain I had before in the testicles, just moved up in my groin area. I feel I am right back where I started. I spoke to Levine and he flat out said that he has "no idea" why I am still suffering. He suggested I find an interested doctor at a pain clinic to see if I could be helped. As a lot of you guys know, that's easier said than done. I am flat broke, completely frustrated and depressed yet again. I don't regret having the surgeries, but am dissapointed that my pain continues. Maybe my pain is still there due to 11 years of suffering. Maybe my nerves are just fried. I don't know. I don't know where to begin again at this point. Any suggestions? Does anyone know a good pain doc in the Philly area?
