I have recently come across a new treatment for this condition. Bee propolis is beneficial in several areas. These are:-

1. antibacterial
2. antifungal
3. antiviral
4. anti-inflammatory
5. anti-oxidant
6. strenghtens immune system.
7. no side effects and no known combinatinatory problems.

And as well as all this Bee Propolis is CHEAP so you can take it with other medicines. It may take a while to have any affect but I think it is worth a try. If anyone has any information or knowledge to share on this subject please do so.
