treatments   Posted by: Jim Smith 02/15/2006, 11:46:33 Edit With my history with epididymitis, I have found the best treatment is warm baths, NSAID's and taking it easy for a week or 2. Then the inflammation clears up on it's own. CIPRO helps by reducing the inflammation, but NSAID's also work, they just take a little longer. But since CIPRO is an antibiotic and I don't seem to ever have an infection, I don't stay away from it. Naproxen seems to be the best NSAID in my case. I've seen five urologist. four would not help me. the fifth told me my condition the sixth I am praying will help me. I still have a diverticulum, i now get kidney stones , u.t.i. and live with epididymas. My right leg is swollen and constant pain. I lived on levoquin and cepro after the surgery.
