Well... the latest from my unscheduled follow up visit is that I do not have the big "E" after all. That would explain the reason why 7 days on Cypro did not reduce the size of the "mass" down there. Hmm, I wonder why the original diagnosis was "E" and wonder why he prescribed the Cypro in the first place.

As in my original post... only slight discomfort on occasion, but the fact that there is something extra down there it nerve-racking. It still concerns me that he is "not inclined to see further treatment as this time".

He has been my family doc for almost 10 years and has never steered me wrong.... Is it time to get a second opinion? Possibly a urologist? Or just wait & see if it goes away on it's own?
