About 10 years ago, I had a two year fight with Epididymitis and Prostatitis. I was living on Cipro and Ibuprofen. The pain was unbearable, but it finally stopped. I was left with an elarged epididymis on my right testicle that was sensative, but I was able to walk normal and return to jogging and riding my motorcylce and bicycle.
Unfortunately, 10 years later it has all returned. The unberable pain and all the negative affects on my quality of life. This time however, the doctor I went to feels that I may have an autoimmune disease that is causing the epididymitis. He thinks this because I have psoriasis on my scalp and my testicle's skin is red. Does this make any sense to anyone. My back hurts, my testicles hurt, my legs hurt and my epididymis is swollen on my right testical and hurts beyond belief. I was diagnosed with prostatis and epididymitis 10 years ago because bacteria was found after a prostate test. Is this doctor way off base? |
