My doctor tested my urine for infection, which included before and after a prostate massage. All tests came back negative. However, he didn't really massage my prostate. When I was diagnosed with Prostatis 10 years ago, the Urologist massaged my prostate until a sample was pushed through my uretha out my penis. This time, my doctor just pushed for a second and had me void in a bottle for testing. He also tested my blood for sings autoimmune disease, but that came back negative.

Is it possible to have an infection and a basic testing of urine may miss the bacteria? My doctor doesn't feel I have an infection, but I have lower back pain where I sit and my epididymitis is so painful that I can barely function.
