You probably won't listen either, but believe me I don't take antibiotics lightly. I started getting quinolone tendon pains (right ankle, mostly) during Levaquin, and they've continued after Levaquin. Antibiotics put me in a constant state of nausea.
But what YOU ought to get is I already am in "serious trouble" -- the worst. Before antibiotics I was in constant pain that grew a little worse each day, and was entirely unable to sit in a chair. Even lying down in many positions had become painful. I won't list all the body functions affected, but if you have serious prostatitis or epid or both (as in my case) you may already know. Antiobiotics - dangerous? Definitely! The alternative - much worse. I'll do anything to get back to health, and more to not retreat to my pre-antibiotic state. In the meantime I'm eating prostaQ and saw palmetto and zinc and a dozen other things... and accupuncture. I'd gargle moonbeams or pay for the afternoon perspiration from a Peruvian virgin if I thought it would help. So far the only clear thing that's helped is Levaquin -- a pact with the devil, but at least he partly kept his bargain. - Charles |
