We started this site because we are concerned about how poorly epididymitis is treated and how often it turns into chronic epididymitis. Basically, current treatment strategy is to throw antibiotics at it, whether it is know what causes it or not, and hope it get better. This is clearly not adequate for all cases. There should be better diagnosis and treatment of epididymitis.
