I don't want to disillusion anyone, and every individual case is probably somewhat different, but I have read many times in books and such places that Epididymitis is no big deal and after a few weeks of antibiotics everything would be honky dorey. Afraid not so, at least not for me, nor from what I can gather, the experience of the other posters here. Don't get me wrong, it can be beaten, I have beaten it, but it took many years of trying various things (and many depressing false dawns ) and refusing to give in to it.

As for chronic being very rare, well I was told that by my Doc as well, but since the advent of the internet and communications superhighway, and the existence of a forum like this, perhaps it is not as rare as one would be led to believe.
