Yes, I did visit a Chinese Dr. in the later stages. The doctor I seen had a question mark about Acupuncture for my condition, but he did prescribe a mixture of the raw herbs. After examination, he diagnosed my problem as a blockage in the spermatic cord. And yes the herbs did seem to help considerably initially, but when I returned for a second visit, the mixture was altered which didn't seem to work as well. I more or less gave up after that, to be quite honest the taste of the resultant liquid from the herbs was indescribable. Cow clap in boiled water would taste better! The prices you were quoted would be around the same as myself, and can work out expensive if you visit too many times.What struck me the most was how something as inexpensive as Fenugreek and Fennel should have the most impact in my case. Although who is to say it wasn't a combination of my previous Chinese treatment and Fenugreek / Fennel that did the trick? Good luck anyway, and it is probably worth a try.
