I am 22 and was diagnosed with epididymitis on Nov 21st 2003 after presenteing swelling and minimal pain in the left testicle. No discharge present during the entire time. I was put on Floxin 300 mg bid for 10 days and some of the mimimal pain subsided. I still get swelling of the cords above the testicle at times which can get faily large at times and minimal pain/ache, though ususally this lessens while in a stationary position. Is it likely that the infection is gone or is this just post infection swelling and is it likely i will need a secondary treatment of antibiotics?
