Haven't seen much on this forum about sterility. I haven't been officially diagnosed but from everything I have read, it sounds more and more like I am a new member to the club. Unfortunately it could be chronic b/c I've had it going on six months with little help from antibiotics - I am currently trying the doxycycline. Based on everything I've heard here however, I am pretty lucky as my pain is relatively persistent but mild. Haven't noticed any issues with ejaculation or debilitating pain.

Two questions:
1) what is known about the potential for sterility with EP? My wife and I would like to have kids and this is pretty important.

2) Has anyone else experienced the pain in their groin as well? and from groin I mean below belly button, on either side? This sounds like lymph node area but I haven't noticed any swollen nodes down there?
