I've had a great recovery since surgery but I've battled this for two years so I'm afraid to get my hopes too high. Nothing showed on the many ultrasounds that have been performed since I was first diagnosed but when they opened me up they found three lesions on the testicle and the entire area was highly overvascularized. They burned off the lesions and stripped out most of the veins. The good news is I got to keep the testicle and the great news is that I have been pain free for three months.
