Well boys and girls(ha/ha), I had my uro appt. at Mayo yesterday after ALL the tests (blood/urine/prostate secretions/transrectal ultrasound/testicular ultrasound...EVERYTHING came back negative. Believe it or not, I am VERY bummed about this...I wanted something found so this can be resolved once and for all. They even did full body CT scans this time..and ones looking for kidney stones etc. that could refer the pain to the teste...NOTHING. I told the doc that the BIGGEST thing for me is this feverish feeling I get at various times during the day...it just feels SO much like my body is fighting some sort of infection. So what does he do?? Puts me on a 45 day!! dose of Levaquin. I'm really scared of this guys after all the stories of anti-b's...plus they already had me on 10 day doses of Doxy way back when. So that's it.....VERY depressed here. Oh, and by the way...this levaquin ia PRICEY!! I have good Mayo coverage and for 45 pills...they paid $390!! and my co-pay was $82.50!! RIDICULOUS. Everyone pray for me that it works please. THANKS.
