Well u see the pain is kinda most painful on the effected side..what do you mean if i had cancer it would be as hard as a rock? ep was brought on after a accident at work where i did the splits while carrying a really heavy load in my arms. Next day i had some swelling so decided to poke around and found what i thought was a tumour turned out it was actually my epididymis which was really inflammed...doctors think i may have a cyst there its about the size of a small pea. the pain is bilateral also and pain goes up to just under my belly button to my thighs etc. I have had urine samples etc taken for risk of infection but they came back clean. I think i may of just had a chemical reflux which brought it on when i slipped, which may also be the cause for the cyst as its a build up of hard fluids, i found putting a hot water bottle on the effected area when i sleep at night to be really helpful for the cyst it has slightly decreased in size. My abdomen hurts a little bit tho which is the annoying part...its like a light throb which i think is radiating from the inflammed ep.

You say cancers would grow very quickly well i never noticed the epididymis bit before i had this problem and all of a sudden one days its a big lump. It is fairly hard but kinda squiddgy too, doctors have felt the lump and said nothing suspscious about it either, so its not really hard like a rock.

I was wondering if you guys have any tips on how to calm the pain down a little, anti biotics worked for a while but now i just have the dull ache which is annoying, before it was almost a stabbing pain when i first got it.

Thanks for all your help on this guys iv worried myself so much about cancer these last months iv made myself ill, i even got shingles out of worrying so much for a while as the doctors were very in-descriptive over what i have simplys telling me i had epididymitis and at first i was just like epididy..what? and that was that so six months of cancer worry...i was even concered that my breasts where going as that is a sign of cancer...failing to think about the fact im lifting all the time that would have an effect on my chest muscles.

But again thanks, let me know more so i cant calm down that even more...so i dont have cancer right?
