I often marvel at guidelines -- there are the USA ones for epididymitis (available on this website) that provide a nice, logical, orderly series of steps. In theory fellahs here asking "why should I do next?" can get their answer by looking at the Guidelines.

But the reality is the Guidelines seem to exist in theory more than in practice. A lot of us here have not heard of them, or found a doctor willing to follow them.

In any event, I found a nice set of guidelines from the UK that apply to prostatitis which (my guess is) many men here also suffer from.
