I hope that eradication of this bacteria will resolve your pain.
However, do not be so sure that cause of your pain is Enterococcus.
They found Enterococcus in my semen as well. So they did in Charles'.
And we are still in pain. Both. I was on three weeks of augmentin
(aka amoxclav) and Charles is in his fifth week of ampicilin, I think.

After the lab guys were able to culture Enterococcus my uro immediately told
me that eradication of Enterococcus will probably not cause pain cessation.
And it did not. See, Enterococcus is frequently found in infertile men who
do not have any pain at all. One research concluded that Enterococcus [1]
results in lower semen parameters. Other research ties urogenital pain to
Enterococcus. It is all very controversial. My semen motility is below the
reference point.
