I'm in the same boat you're in. My GP tells me that my prostate is not remarkably large and has ruled out prostititis but my uro tells me that there is a high count of white blood cells in my prostetic fluid which is supposed to be a sign of infection but every test; semen, urine and blood reveal no infection. Same uro wants to do a varicolectomy on a 3mm subclinical vaicocele and every other doctor is telling me that surgery on a varicocele that small should not be causing bi lateral pain. The pain I'm in is very mild, or better said uncomfortable but it still there and takes a load on my general being, peace of mind and overall happiness. I've tried convincing a general surgeon to preform a dynamic ultrasound or dynamic MRI but he insisted that those tests aren't necessary and that a CT scan would be sufficient to rule out non palpable or sports hernia. When I mentioned a sports hernia he asked me what it was... I've been thinking about seeing Dr. Levine but the level of pain I'm in doesn't merit me having spermatic cord denervation as I'm still functional. If the pain were incapacitating and unbearable, I'd see him without a second thought. If anyone has any suggestions other than going to Manilla, don't hesitate to reply. Thanks, |
