To sum up what had happened earlier: diagnosed by two doctors with epididymitis. Was prescribed Cipro both times, 10 days for the first time, 14 days for the second. During the first cycle it almost went away but came back after a couple days following the end of the 10-day Cipro.

Now I am on the 13th day of the second time trying Cipro. Things were improving very nicely and then on Sunday, wham, it is back. It seemed to coincide with lifting heavy groceries, and I have read online that strain can be bad for both epididymitis and varicocele.

ARGH. It is so frustrating considering I have already spent hundreds of dollars on doctor visits and meds. Today I experienced some discomfort, not as bad as when off the Cipro. I only have two more Cipro pills left. I really hope it is not varicocele, because that would involve a lot more money spent on surgery.

Anybody know if a flare up of pain, especially after heavy lifting, is normal? Or am I screwed?
