I went and had a sonogram for my/our condition. I knew what they would find, but just in case I went along with it. The female tech was very good and pretty gentle, but after she was finished, the doctor wanted to double check something. He came up to the table, grabbed me by the sack , and started squeezing in various spots. I almost squealed like a little girl. He kept poking and asking me questions. I would have told him anything he wanted to hear to get him to stop, my PIN number, whatever. He must be a blacksmith on the weekends, he sure has the grip for it.

Other than complaining about the pain, I wanted to ask the group a question. During your sonograms, and I assume we have all had at least one, did you feel pain from the ultrasound itself, and not just the wand the tech used? I noticed, in excruciating detail, that when the tech passed over a sensitive area, the epididymis for example, there was pain that did not seem to be coming from the pressure of the wand but from the ultrasound. A couple of times, she would hold it in one place, and it would start as a dull ach, move on to a toothache- like feeling, then on to an excruciating burning pain. It might be my imagination, and the pain was from the wand (transducer) since I didnt think you were supposed to be able to feel the sound, but it sure felt different to me.

Thoughts?
Mike
