Believe me, I've been where you are now, not too long ago. Im 23, I got a bad case of this about 8 months ago, and came very close to suicide also. Even wrote a note and all, still have it actually. But, it does get better... and you're lucky to have found this site as soon as you have, definitely finish a couple weeks of antibiotics, then CHANGE YOUR UNDERWEAR to a more supportive kind, take it easy physically and sexually to let it heal completely. I think thats what causes the chronic, doing too much before it heals and causing more damage. And also thank God you have a girlfriend that understands, its next to impossible to get one after getting EP. believe me. Anyway, keep your head up man, God gives us trials, but not more than we can bear. I feel about 80-95 percent healthy down there depending on the day (and what i drink - no caffiene/citrus juices/carbonation). Just practice what the guys on here have written and be patient. thats all you can do, you're past the worst of it
