John,
When I said I worked with a TCM practitioner I meant I was a patient of one. Worked is an appropriate term, however, because I sometimes felt like a human guinea pig I was taking so many pills and drinking so much tea. Each time I visited the doc's office he carefully examined my tongue, my fingernails, and monitored my pulse in each wrist with his fingers. He was absolutely positive my condition was curable using his methods. I visited him three times (keep in mind his office was a six hour drive from my home) and each time he tweaked the meds trying to hone in on the problem. Basically, he believed the ep was a result of stagnation of qi (life energy) in my privates. He said the area was too warm and that it must be cooled down. So, on average, I was taking 20-30 pills per day, drinking really bad tea, and praying for my balls to cool down. Nothing worked. If you are interested in the contents of these pills let me know and I will try to send you a list. I can tell you there was a lot of root of this and root of that. Eric |
